International Shipping Policy

This policy describes how international orders and quotations are prepared, dispatched and delivered. It applies to every shipment sold by PROIND Electronics to customers outside Brazil.

Last updated: January 15, 2026

1. Order processing

Orders are processed after payment confirmation, or after the commercial conditions of a quotation are formally accepted. Processing time depends on stock location, product condition (new, new surplus, refurbished or used) and whether functional testing or final inspection is required.

Sourced, made-to-order and hard-to-find items follow the lead time stated in the specific quotation.

2. Shipping origin

Depending on stock availability and destination, a shipment may leave Brazil, the United States or another international sourcing origin. The shipping origin is confirmed per quotation and, where known, displayed on the product page as “Ships from”.

The shipping origin never changes the seller of record: the contracting party is always PROIND Electronics (Brazil).

3. Delivery times

All transit times communicated by PROIND are estimates. They vary with destination country, customs clearance, selected carrier and service level, and external events such as strikes, weather or logistics retention.

4. Carriers and shipping modes

The mode and cost are shown at checkout or stated in the quotation before the order is confirmed.

  • International express air courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS or equivalent).
  • Air freight for larger or heavier consignments.
  • Consolidated freight or the buyer's nominated forwarder, when agreed.

5. Freight costs and Incoterms

Freight is calculated from chargeable weight and dimensions, destination address and the selected service. The commercial responsibility split is defined by the Incoterm agreed in the quotation (EXW, FCA, CPT, DAP or DDP).

Import duties, taxes, VAT/IVA, customs brokerage and any local charges in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility, unless the quotation explicitly states DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).

6. Export documentation

Every international shipment travels with a commercial invoice in USD, a packing list and the applicable transport document. Additional documents (certificate of origin, HS classification support, manufacturer declarations) can be issued on request when available.

7. Tracking

A tracking number is provided whenever the selected service supports it. Once the consignment is collected, transit status is under the carrier's control.

8. Failed deliveries

PROIND is not responsible for delays or returns caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, absence of a receiver, missing import documentation on the buyer's side, unpaid duties or unjustified refusal of the shipment. Re-shipping costs in those cases are charged to the buyer.

9. Damaged or lost shipments

If visible damage is present on delivery, refuse the shipment or record the damage on the carrier's proof of delivery. Any damage or shortage identified after receipt must be reported within 48 hours, with the order number, a description and photographs of the product and packaging.

10. Industrial packaging

Because of the nature of the products, some items require ESD-protective or technical packaging, functional testing before dispatch, or a specific dispatch window. These conditions are always communicated in advance.
